Karen (Leaffer) Schauble will present “The Perils of Donor Participation in Scholarship Funds” on October 15, 2013 at the National Scholarship Providers Association (NSPA) Annual Conference, which brings together diverse scholarship funders, including institutions of higher education.

The presentation, devoted to scholarship providers that are 501(c)(3) public charities and permit donor participation in the selection process, will examine key legal fundamentals related to donor-advised scholarship funds; how the law applies to the many variations of donor-advised scholarship funds; and the perils of noncompliance.   This is the sixth year Karen has presented at this important industry conference.
