Celebrating its third year, the Social Enterprise Cohort brings together an esteemed group of Colorado nonprofit and social enterprise leaders and The Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange to help select nonprofit organizations build businesses that create jobs for their community and sustainable revenue streams to support their missions. Participating organizations include: Arc of Aurora, The Crisis Center, Colorado Youth Matter and Work Options for Women. This diverse, dynamic and innovative group of nonprofits will participate in a two year process to conceive of, develop and launch new social ventures.
Based on traditional accelerator/incubator models, these nonprofits will develop business ideas in a peer learning environment. Karen (Leaffer) Schauble and Becky Farr Seidel of Leaffer Law Group will team up with Rubicon Law principal Ryan Howell on June 9, 2016 to advise participating organizations on the topic of social enterprise law.
