Karen Leaffer Schauble presented on “Fiscal Sponsorship Up Close:  Understanding the Benefits and Pitfalls” at the Colorado Nonprofit Association’s 2014 Fall Conference. The presentation focused on legal structure essentials for fiscal sponsors, nonprofit organizations who have a fiscal sponsor or are making a grant to one.  The presentation provided insight as to what fiscal sponsorship takes, compared the common models, and identified pitfalls that create risk.
