The Colorado Secretary of State’s office has launched an online tutorial to provide general guidance and advice to those interested in setting up a nonprofit charity in Colorado.
The tutorial, titled “Startup Guidance for Colorado Charities,” helps users understand the differences between different nonprofits, their limitations, and related requirements to establish them. The tutorial also offers a recommended sequence of regulatory filings, providing a practical order of steps to establish and operate a Colorado nonprofit, including useful tips to take into consideration before starting the process. In addition, it helps users understand their responsibilities to maintain their nonprofit in good standing with the State of Colorado.
The team at Schauble Law Group was proud to collaborate with the Secretary of State’s office to create this useful tool for all Coloradans looking to begin their own nonprofit.
