In the Spring of 2013, Becky Seidel presented “Social Enterprise and PRIs: Private Foundation Funding Issues and Opportunities” to Colorado State University’s College of Business. In addition to outlining challenges and opportunities, the presentation provided an overview and examples of program related investments (PRI), hybrid entities such as low-profit limited liability companies (L3C) and benefit corporations, and nonprofit/for-profit combinations.
