Karen (Leaffer) Schauble, an attorney and principal at Leaffer Law Group, a boutique law firm dedicated exclusively to serving Colorado’s charitable foundations and nonprofit organizations, has joined the board of Space Science Institute (SSI) where she also serves as Secretary.

SSI is a nonprofit organization on the leading edge of creating new, affordable, efficient, and far-reaching models for earth and space science research and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

“Being involved with SSI at a time when the country is prioritizing STEM education is both important and exciting,” says Karen.  “SSI’s leadership and commitment to advancing science education and to making it accessible to a broad population allows me to be a catalyst in encouraging youth, particularly young women, to pursue STEM education and careers.”
